1. Data We Collect

PureCinema does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising ID.

PureCinema does not use third-party analytics SDKs.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

PureCinema stores the following on your device only:

• Recent search history
• Favorites, watchlist items, and ratings
• App preferences (theme, font size, sort option, language/region settings)
• Onboarding progress
• On-device recommendation data (taste/recommendation events, metadata, cache, exposure/telemetry state)
• Image cache (posters/stills)

3. Data Sent to Third Parties

To show movie and TV data, PureCinema sends requests to TMDB (The Movie Database). These requests may include:

• Search text you enter
• Selected content language/region
• Content IDs and query parameters needed to fetch details, episodes, cast, watch providers, trailers, and recommendations

If you tap external links, PureCinema opens third-party apps or sites (such as TMDB, YouTube, or streaming providers). Those services handle data under their own privacy policies.

If you contact support, your email app handles that message. If you rate the app, Apple handles the App Store review flow.

4. Your Choices

• You can clear recent search history in-app.
• You can remove favorites and watchlist items in-app.
• To remove all locally stored app data (including caches and recommendation data), delete the app.

5. Children's Privacy

PureCinema is not designed to collect personal data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above.
